The song is revamped, elongated, and reproduced by Robert Taylor Jr using the original chords as well as the lyrics that his father Bobby wrote. Biography

Robert Taylor Jr. (he/him) is an American entertainer whose goal is to inspire and spread love, peace, and harmony to people of all ages through music and dance. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Coney Island, he developed a love for music and dance under the training and education of his father Robert Bobby "T-Boy" Taylor of "Magnetic Touch" who was produced by Phil Medley (who wrote 'Twist And Shout' for "The Beatles") and Patrick Adams (who produced for Eric B. & Rakim & Cathy Dennis) and went under his tutelage for his music/artistry. Robert's first gig/accolade was writing songs with his father Bobby "T-Boy" Taylor and Patrick Adams entitled "What's The Deal" & "You Got The Love" by his father's singing group "Magnetic Touch".  He also worked with Elizabeth Buzzetta from public school P.S. 90, Palmeri and Pat Conlon Levy for musical training, Larry Ramsey for acting, John Goring, and Eddie Morales for dance from John Dewey High School. He received a B.A. in Dance with a minor in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. Robert won multiple music showcases, including "Faces in the Crowd," "The Mental Supreme Showcase," and "Roc the Mic," making him a 5-time NYC underground music industry showcase winner as an R&B entertainer.  Years after Robert's songwriting with his Dad and Patrick came to fruition as Robert embraced his college years he started dancing for the WNBA with the NY Liberty Torch Patrol and was also "Maddie" The Mascot. Shortly after, Robert performed for Michael Jackson (in person) for the Sony Protest party at Webster Hall with his singing group "Uneti". He was in the top 16 contestants of So You Think You Can Dance Season 8. Credits include: American Idol (Season 3), So You Think You Can Dance (Season 2), MTV's Say What? Karaoke (he won 2 shows and made it to the finals in 2003, 2007), MTV's "WannaBe's", Kat Deluna's "Whine Up" music video with Danielle Polanco and Tanisha Scott, Hairspray national tour (2008), CBS Network Rundown at Carnegie Hall for L.L. Cool J (choreographed by Geo Hubela), Sweden's Peace and Love festival with Rihanna (2012), Rihanna's Budweiser commercial (2015), and America's Got Talent (finalist, The Mothmen). Robert made his Broadway debut in SpongeBob SquarePants. Later, he appeared as a wrestler in battle royals and tag team matches as "Music Man," training with WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz and won a battle royal wrestling match in 2023. During the pandemic he became an ambassador for the "Master Class" series and became student of the month in 2020 as a music producer/engineer under the tutelage of Grammy Award winning producer “Timbaland.” Additionally, he is ranked a "low blue belt" Tiger Schulmann's MMA school), has appeared on "Law and Order Organized Crime," "And Just Like That," had a feature role on "The Equalizer" with Queen Latifah as 'Young Marlon', and his latest release of "What You Did To Me" is available on Spotify. He reached his 15 year milestone as a dance teacher at Broadway Dance Center touring countries such as Sweden, India, Argentina, and Russia as their brand ambassador and is now current faculty at STEPS on Broadway as a teacher/choreographer. His most recent accolades include dancing with Rosaro McCoy (choreographer of Usher) and performing at the 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame dancing with 'New Edition' for the 'Soul Train' segment inducting 'The Spinners' into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He is currently a member of the 'Brooklyn Nets' Level-Up Squad as well as one of "The Stompaz" (one of Ellie The Elephant's handlers) for the Mascot Ellie The Elephant of the WNBA's basketball team the New York Liberty who just recently won the 2024 championship. As of this year he is currently the general manager of a wrestling company called "Wrestling Is Now".  Robert just finished a run of "Rock Of Ages" directed/choreographed by Lisa Stevens and was casted as the ensemble along with playing the roles of "Ja'Keith" and "The Mayor". In addition, he has recently placed 2nd in the ‘Coast 2 Coast’ showcase and will be competing for the world championship in December of 2025.  He now represents himself as a current music artist under the musical group “Magnetic Touch” as a tribute to his late father with music streaming on all platforms.
